2024 Tony Award Nominations Announced
Nominees Unveiled in 26 Competitive Categories
The nominations for the 77th Annual American Theatre Wings Antoinette Perry Tony Awards were announced on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, via livestream on CBS and the Tony Awards website.
Following a record-breaking season on Broadway, nominees were announced for 26 categories, including Best Play, Best Musical, Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
Among the notable nominees are Sarah Paulson and Jeremy Strong for their performances in "The Glass Menagerie," Rachel McAdams for her role in "Mean Girls," and the musical "A Strange Loop," which received 11 nominations.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by actor Skylar Astin and will take place on Sunday, June 11, 2024, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The event will also feature a special performance by the cast of the Tony Award-winning musical "Hadestown."
