Squatters Turn Hollywood Hills Mansion Into 'Eyesore' With Graffiti: Video

Derelict estate left in state of disrepair by trespassers as neighbors demand action from authorities

Exclusive footage shows extent of damage caused by illegal occupants at vacant property near Runyon Canyon

A sprawling Hollywood Hills mansion has fallen into a state of disrepair after being occupied by squatters, who have left the once-opulent estate covered in graffiti and strewn with trash.

The three-story property, located on a quiet cul-de-sac near Runyon Canyon, has been vacant for several years and has become a magnet for trespassers who have vandalized the home and caused extensive damage.

Exclusive footage obtained by The Hollywood Reporter shows the extent of the damage caused by the squatters. The home's exterior is covered in graffiti, with gang tags and other markings scrawled across the walls and windows.

Inside, the mansion is in a state of disrepair. The walls are stained with filth, the carpets are torn up, and the furniture has been broken or stolen. The smell of urine and feces is overwhelming.

Neighbors have become increasingly frustrated with the situation and have demanded action from authorities. They say the squatters have turned the once-beautiful mansion into an eyesore and are concerned about the safety of the neighborhood.

"It's a disgrace," said one neighbor, who asked not to be identified. "This is a nice neighborhood, and this house is just an eyesore. It's bringing down the value of our homes."

Another neighbor said she is concerned about the safety of her children. "I don't want my kids playing near that house," she said. "I'm afraid they might get hurt."

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the situation and has increased patrols in the area. However, the squatters have not been evicted from the property, and it is unclear when or if they will be.

In the meantime, neighbors are left to deal with the eyesore and the safety concerns that come with it.
